Dysprosium Iron Master Alloy Description
Dysprosium Iron (Dy-Fe) Alloy is a rare earth material composed of dysprosium and iron. Dysprosium is a rare earth element known for its ability to significantly enhance the magnetic properties of certain alloys, particularly neodymium-iron-boron (NdFeB) magnets. When dysprosium is added to NdFeB magnets in the form of a master alloy, it helps improve the high-temperature stability and resistance to demagnetization of the magnets. Dysprosium content in these magnets is carefully controlled to achieve the desired magnetic properties.
Available alloy forms include sheets and plates, discs, foils, rods, tubes, and other shapes.
